De Gea Tells Red Devils He Is Not Leaving

If you were looking for profitable betting strategies over the summer, you would have likely thought to put money on David De Gea to move to Real Madrid for a sure thing. Six months on and the news is that he is staying put at Old Trafford. The player has spoken to the press stating that he will not be departing during the transfer window to Madrid.

Over the last few days, Madrid has been banned from carrying out transfers for two windows. It starts in the summer so this month is they only time they will be able to sign anyone until the window in June 2017. It is believed that Florentino Perez the Madrid president wants to try to sign the player before the ban is implemented. It is unlikely the deal will now happen though as De Gea has now committed himself to Manchester United.

Last summer it looked certain that De Gea would be leaving Old Trafford to return to his home country and city. The deal collapsed in the final minutes of the window been open with both clubs blaming each other for it not finalizing in time.

In the past, it has always been a profitable betting strategy betting on Perez to get his man. Once he has identified the star he wishes to buy, there is little a club can do to hold onto the player. It is going to be a very busy month for the president, and it is likely they are going to have to pay over the odds to get the players they wish to sign.

A twist to the David De Gea transfer saga is that a release clause of £45m has included in the new contract he has signed. It may be that Manchester United tied down their star goalkeeper so that they could command the fee that they feel he is worth. Even though the amount will be a record amount for a goalie, it will not put off Perez. He has broken the world record transfer fee on many occasions.

Over the past few decades, it has been the most profitable betting system for Madrid to pay world record fees to get the world’s best. It will be very hard for other teams to buy players from Madrid now that they are unable to trade. They will need to keep hold of the current team and hope that they can improve without extra additions.

Manchester United form this season has been very poor. They have bored their fans to death and are having a real problem scoring. They will need to buy in the January transfer market if they are going to have a chance of finishing in the top four. The most profitable betting systems have Van Gaal the best bet to put money on to be fired at the end of the season. The next month is going to be vital for the Red Devils as if they lost a couple they could drop down the league quickly and find it tough to get back into Champions League qualification.
